    There are two (2) broad programmes run under the Legal Studies Section, namely:

     

    1. 'A' Level Law:
      1. Qualifications for the Course (one of the following):
        1. G.C.E. Ordinary Level - Credits in at least 4 subjects, including including English Language
        2. West African Senior Secondary School Certificate with Credits in at least 4 subjects, including English Language
        3. G.C.E. 'A' Level
      2. Course Duration: One academic year
      3. Type of Programme: Part Time Course

        1. English Legal System
        2. Law of Tort
        3. Law of Contract
      5. Tuition Fee: D2,000.00
    2. Diploma in Law (Two Year Programme)
      1. Qualifications for the course (one of the following):
        1. G.C.E. 'O' Level - Credits in at least four (4) subjects, including English Language
        2. West African Senior Secondary School Certificate with Credits in at least 4 subjects, including English Language
        3. G.C.E. 'A' Level
      2. Subjects Taught Under the Diploma in Law Programme
        1. Gambia Courts Systems
        2. Gambia Local Govt Law
        3. Constitutional and Administrative Law
        4. Criminal Law and Procedure

        6. Law of Evidence

      3. Course Duration: Two years
      4. Type of Programme: Part Time Course
      5. Certification: GTTI Certificate (Diploma) at the end of the two years
